1 year anniversary of my blog
Merry Christmas to all~ Wish u all all the best in ur endeavours. After the weekend I'll post about my Christmas. Currently, I just checked out my blog and oh its been a year since I first started blogging. 23/12 being the date. Hmm I realised that the first 3 months I was really actively blogging then after that it was an "armstice" for quite a while several months here and there. A total of 57 posts = average of 1 in 1 week. I realise that I get "addicted" seemingly easy to games. A bad sign indeed. Its just that I probably try to spend much time on them. I also realised that I do work best when I planned to do it last min cos its done really fast compared to normal when i lack motivation and drive to do things quickly. No reason to ask me to do last min stuff though :D Moving back to Tuesday. I met my good friend for jogging after a month of not exercising since I last exercised with him. I met him at about 10:30. We jogged around the neighbourhood a total of about 4 km perhaps as estimated by my friend in 20 min. This would have been no problem when i was in sec 3 when i was at my fittest point of my life. The pace that was set was rather average actually. I tried to go for a slow pace but it was like walking speed. Was trying to train my stamina so just jogged at a better pace. We talked as we jogged so that I'll regulate my breathing but of course its more tiring as well. Towards the last km that we jogged I was huffing and talk between gasps of breaths. Evidently tired but probably hanging on. I mean whats the point of giving up so easily when one can push urself.(not too hard of course) Towards the final part few hundred metres we even stepped up the pace and the last 100m was supposed to sprint. I did not really did a proper sprint as I knew I was out of energy. I did sprint though not a fast sprint. At the end I just slowed to a stop as stopping straight away was not good. I felt abit nauseous but managed to make the feeling go away. He wanted to continue immediately but I just sat down and told him I was feeling a little dizzy and felt like i could faint. We then went to the shelter as the sun was baring down hot on us. I rested and enjoyed the breeze breathing deeply to get enough oxygen. After when I felt I was okay we tried a little stretching to see if I could continue. He decided against it being concerned about my welfare. I went to the lift and we chatted awhile and I wanted to go up cos I felt like sitting down/ too tired to stand. Went up and took water and a little food. Chatted with him for slightly over half an hour and then he had to go. Its really nice to have friends. I wonder what its like to have none at all. In this season of giving, I'll just like to say I treasure each and every one of u and Thank you for being who u are, a wonderful friend (:

Mid term break
Yoz, looks like I havent posted for rather long. Its just the first week of my hols in my 3 week break. Last week I just took my exams~ My main module and my best subject paper was a killer. Dont know what grade I'll get this time. Hope its not too bad. On the bright side though, my 2 other main modules was alrite. Hoping the good results here can compensate for the lousy 1 there~ This week I did some work.(helping my father) Data entry work. Typical office job I guess. It was alrite though. I was given a few days that I asked for to relax so I feel good about doing work. Had I not been given Friday and the weekend off I would definitely have dreaded work. See how much difference a happy worker makes :) Oh yea, this hols is a mid semester break which means there are projects and assignments to be done. Well only the Midyr and EOY are considered real breaks anyway. I saw the calendar the other day and I realised that Chinese New Year is in Feb. This means that I have to spend the short hols to study for my End of Year as the weightage is rather high thus making it exceedingly important. Anyway now's hols so its time to relax first. When sch reopens its time to concentrate for my final and most important quarter.

Ole,ole,ole!
Yesterday, washed, folded and hanged the clothes as usual. However, that was much more work to come. This was as my relatives were coming to our house that evening. Helped to cut vegetables, wash dishes, mop floor and various other things. Although some ppl came early it was almost done. After I was done with the work and it was time to eat. I felt really drained. Was quite tired physically for some reason. I ate 3 bowls of rice and 2 bowls of soup. (with ingredients of course) and felt really full after that so I didnt eat anymore. Had a really fun time with my counsin socialising and bonding and later on i did catch some action of the Liverpool vs Man U match. Well basically I was left all smiles and a good feeling left behind as Liverpool beat Man U 2-0. Today, I had to do some more dishes and bcos some food was leftover and today we cleared it up. So kinda sick of doing dishes though I'll be fine soon. Great that Liverpool are now back in the action again. If Liverpool had lost I could say that Liverpool would be playing less then second fiddle in the title race. For now, things look bright and hopeful.

Kindness exists
This week on one of the days I cam back home on bus I kinda overshot my bus stop by oversleeping. So I got down 2 bus stops after and walked back. As I took out my wallet 2 $0.50 coins dropped out. 1 dropped in the bus while the other rolled out onto the road. Being me, I did not want to block about 5 other ppl. So I just came out of the bus and waited for the bus to go to find the coin that dropped on the road. Surprisingly someone handed me back my coin. I didn't think that I'll get it back actually bcos normally ppl would bother only if u are looking and in this case I wasn't. Well so when I got back my money I could only mutter "Oh... Thanks". Well I managed to find the other coin on the road as well so it ended well. Yesterday when we were forming groups to do a business proposal, no one(including me) wanted to team up with a certain person. This was as ppl all feared his lacklustre attitude as he did not seem to care about his grades does leaving the workload to his group members as seen from the previous project. Things were going awry as other then that, a guy that rumoured to have liked the girl was being put in the same group much to the evident strong displeasure of the girl. The class leader solved the situation by being the "sacrifice". He and another classmate agreed to take the "reject" into his group. However it seemed that no one else wanted to fill up the last slot to make it 4 ppl in the group. I then joined them as I was the most familiar with them among the rest of us I felt and it would probably be better. Only my other friend and I were close to this "reject" and he said he was about to ask if he or I should join that group. But as I said I felt that this was for the best of all(including myself I think). Basically it allowed the other groups to reshuffle and also the girl managed to get a group without that guy although there was a sacrifice on her group's part as well as another group needed a leader in their group. Basically it was good to see kindness being displayed in my everyday life by the people around me. It was really a useful experience indeed.

Hol is over
My holidays are effectively over and what have I achieved during this 6 weeks? Academically i guess not alot. But I had lots of time to devote to other things such as music and Bible. Of course not to mention games as well as time to meet up with frens. The time has come for me to know how I fared in my mid yr. I hope not to many careless mistakes but other then that it'll be what I deserve. So no complains about that. Oh yea on the side note, Liverpool title challenge seems almost over so I guess I'll keep my expectations low. Recently I have joined a Bible class and learning about the prophecies is simply fascinating. Can't wait for each week's lesson. I have been trying to get 1 of my friend to take up Bible studies and I'll just say he is probably uncertain. More prayer would help and I'll leave it to the Holy Spirit to impress upon his heart. Well when poly starts I'll also try to ask another 1 or 2 frens to take up Bible study. I'll let God lead and To God be the Glory~

A Hectic Friday
Well yesterday I was rushing to go through the book that contained many hymns and praises as I was supposed to return it the next day. So I just went through 500 plus songs in a few hours. I was distracted and all but what I felt was the irrepressible feeling to practice piano and the pieces that I have learnt. I just played several minutes and that was all. But though I wished that I could have practiced more like perhaps 3 hours :P But anyway I am glad that I do have the fire in me to practice XD But I shall not celebrate too soon as it might only be temporary. So I've got to get myself going. Well my holidays are coming to an end in 8 days. Well it has kind of been long enough so I am willing to get back to school and hit the books. This does not stop me from keeping up my practice of piano or rather I should not let it. I was kinda anxious yesterday night as I did not know the pace I should play the song for worship. I handed it over to Olivine willingly when she offered her help as I was really unfamiliar with the song. However, the other song that very few ppl in the congregation knew how to sing I tried to play it and was pleased with my effort as I just did not know the pace but the pastor asked me to play faster and I managed to play while looking at him and answering him and then played the piece faster. I was rather impressed with how far I have come since I started playing for church. Of course I am not really good yet but still I am happy to be making progress and to be moving forward~

PIano lesson success
Well previously I mentioned that I had a deadline to fulfil by playing a piece up to standard and indeed I managed :) I want to just express that I felt really glad to have made it. But still I think more hard work needs to be put forth and I am in dire need of motivation. Well yesterday I went out to meet my 2 close frens for dinner. Things went as usual and we had fun. Both of them decided to compete who could drink faster. 1 drank plain water and the other drank 100 plus. Well it was half bottle and the person who drank 100 plus drank much faster. They said that water was too bland so he couldn't drink that fast. Soft drinks however taste sweet and that it was easier on the throat and to gulp down more and continuously. Oh yea, I have been learning a game called shogi. Its Japanese chess. I think some of u might know already. I have been learning for 50 odd days. Its more complicated then chess as when u capture the opponent pieces it becomes yours and u can drop the pieces on any empty square as yours as a move in the game. There is also promotion which is also very interesting. Well for a start you could just wikipedia to check out how to move the pieces basically and a rough idea of the game. If any of u are interested please let me know. I'll be more then willing to teach u. Well since this game is not popular here, we can play together online. So all those chess lovers please come and join me :))

Chelsea 2 Liverpool 0
I watched the Liverpool match from 11pm to 1am only to be disappointed by the outcome. It was 2-0 in favour of Chelsea. Liverpool played okay but lacked the cutting edge in front of goal. This reminds me of a few weeks back when I played soccer at Balastier. I scored the opening goal but after that I had a rather uneventful night mostly going in for the tackle but only for them to get past me. I was told to just mark and pressure the person but I only fulfilled my role at times. I did manage to set up a few goals as well which was good. Overall I'll say I was just happy for some exercise. Speaking of which, last Monday, about 9 of us cycled from East Coast Macdonalds to Changi village and back. It was organised by Terrence. Some of them cycled from Changi to East Coast and back instead. This is as Changi bike rental is much cheaper. It was 7 dollars for an hour + 1 hour free for very hour u rent at East Coast. However, it costs only $5 for an hour + 1 hour free for every hour u rent.(if i rmb correctly) Additionally u only have to pay for 5 hours meaning 15 dollars if u want to rent it for the whole day. That is really much cheaper then the 21 dollars paid for the 6 hours of our cycling trip. We covered a total of 38km in 3 hours plus for me which was slow. I got to try the bike Shawn rented which supposed to have cost $400. That bike is way better then mine as mine costs about 100 odd. I had a much better time cycling on the way back after we exchanged bikes much thanks to Shawn. Oh yea I've got to train up my muscle for pull ups for NS which I should have done during the holidays. Ahh really lots of things to do actually if I just do them all.

piano piece deadline
Hi guys (: I have not posted in a long time but I guess I'll resume blogging. Well the previous piano lesson I was given a 1 week chance to perfect my rhythm for a piece or change it. I guess rhythm is really not my forte but I'll have to devote time to make it work. If I can't do it then its okay I should not force myself. Well but for now till Wednesday I've got to give it my best. I need to be inspired. I need to fall in love with music to be able to devote my time to it. My teacher advises me to watch concerts which I guess I'll try to go to a few. I really wish then I just be practising, practising and practising. I know that 3 hours should be the amount and thats what I have to do. I am currently doing only an hour. No excuses as its holidays. Well even if its not I know I can afford the time. Inspiration is what I seek indeed. Hope I didnt bore u guys with this post. I'll be posting more interesting stuff then this in the next few posts~

Jee Wong website
Last Saturday, we went to a concert that featured the pianist Jee Wong. He's not famous or anything but he plays well as of a concert standard and he also plays hymns and praises. Well the 1 and a half hour there was mainly One Heart singing as well as him playing some pieces for us and giving his testimonies of his work as he belongs to an organisation called ASAP. I forgot what it stands for but they help those in need in Southeast Asia particularly those poorer countries like Cambodia and Vietnam. For those of u that did not attend the concert or want to hear some of his pieces u could go to http://www.track10.com/site/artist.php?band_id=5164. His playing is simply awesome. Well someday i wish to play as well as him for the church songs I play. Hard work can bring a person very far.

Singapore 0 Liverpool 5
Yesterday Singapore vs Liverpool kicked off at about 7:15 pm. Before that u could see majority of the supporters decked out in Liverpool shirts making it seem like Singapore was the away team and Liverpool the home team. There was even a banner saying "This is Anfield" which is the home ground of Liverpool. It clearly showed who the Singaporeans were supporting. Liverpool's starting line up was filled with reserve team players and those not of the previous season starting eleven. But Voronin made it 1-0 to LIverpool on the stroke of half time. After the break, quality players were brought on at 45,60 and 75th minutes. Thus destroying any hopes of a Singapore comeback. Liverpool reserve player managed to get 2 goals under his belt, a brace. Torres the star striker got 1 and Riera, Liverpool's left winger got 1 as well. That summed up the score at 5-0 to Liverpool. Liverpool's manager was pleased with the team's performance as it was their first win in pre season and the players played well. Kuyt the man of the match had 3 assists. He was fantastic. Before the match Daniel Bennett, a Singapore defender who is a Singaporean but was born in England supported Singapore to win but was dismayed that many Singaporeans chose to support a foreign team like Liverpool over their own country. After the match, other Singapore players also voiced their displeasure. One of them said that haven't since so many fans in the stadium for quite a long while but was disappointed that not more of them had supported the Singapore team. Another player voiced his disapproval on seeing the banner "This is Anfield" as he totally made Singapore team feel like it was not their home ground. The Liverpool players also commented that this was the place away from home that they felt it was the closest feeling to home with all the supporters and mood. Another epic case of club vs country just that this club belongs to another country.

Beethoven Sonata
Recently, I am just enthralled by Beethoven Sonatas. Particularly the Tempest and Appassionata. I realised that Beethoven music is just so captivating. I like the sonata form and all the music there is in the piece. Well for me i generally prefer the 1st and 3rd movement of pieces including this 2 sonatas. I think it could be bcos that the 2nd movt is slow perhaps. But i do like slow songs too as long as the song is expressive. But i believe i have a preference for faster pieces. Well i have learnt the first movt of the tempest sonata which took me quite long already. But nvm i better get my basics right rather then spend time correcting everything next time. Better build a strong foundation or else u have to start over again. My teacher was telling me that Mozart was difficult to play as u have to play exactly as it is notated. This is unlike Romantic music where one can do some rubato and some even improvise a little. Well for Mozart u have to play very accurately. Actually it is not necessary to improvise the music which the composer has written. I heard pianists do that so that they have a unique style. But i believe that one can do that while being true to the music meaning expressing the composer's intention. But there are different interpretations of the piece and that's what makes Romantic pieces different from Classical and much more captivating in my opinion. But of course Classical music has its own uniqueness that is alluring as well. But i shall not go into that as this post is about my fascination in Romantic music especially that of Beethoven Sonatas. That's about all i have to say for now so until next time :D

Transformers
Last Sunday, a total of 8 of us went to catch a movie "Transformers". We went there early and thus since most of us have not eaten, we went to eat breakfast. The food was at a price i expected but then my fruit punch was $2.50. I was shocked. But then its the price around the town area. Felt like I wasted money on the drink. Well then we went to catch the movie. Some of them bought snacks to bring in but I didn't as I felt I had overspent. We came in slightly late thus missing the advertisements perhaps. We watched the movie which i would say was quite good in terms of action not so for the plot. I didn't really understand everything at first as the robots look the same to me. At the end of the movie, I saw one of the main character name was Megan Fox I was like "Huh that was Megan Fox?". Then Frank said " Ya, u didn't know?". I was like ya never seen her b4. I was like no wonder Suresh like to watch this show. Later went to do group project and obviously there were ppl who were late. We walked around then went to Mcdonalds for someone who hasn't eaten and then brainstormed ideas. Later we went to the library and finally decided on an idea and its uses and its design. It was the foundation for the project. Well later reached home in the evening and relaxed cos my exams had just ended.

Frank gone to Australia
Well the time has come and Frank is now on Australian soil. Wish him all the best in everything. Well last Saturday we went to East Coast beach from around 4pm to 6pm. First, laid the ground sheet then ate some tidbits. Took a group photo and the photographers took some photos of scenery and ppl while we chit chat. Later Olivine suggested all the boys take a group picture. Then she also borrowed Frank's camera and handphone. We made Frank stand in the centre to ensure then it'll be easy for us to throw him in the sea and he fell for our ploy.Well he struggled really violently. First, Joseph got kicked then he let go. That gave Shawn a hard time to contain Frank. At the start, only Joseph, Chih Cheng,Shawn and Suresh were subduing him. The rest of us were just onlookers. After they loss grip due to Frank thrashing about with only Shawn holding Frank, Olivine rallied us to ensure our job was done. I quickly chipped in and grabbed Frank's arm. He rained blows on my arm but i just held on. After that Suresh recovered and both Shawn and Suresh got a firm grip of Frank so I just let go. They were walking towards the sea and on the verge of throwing him in but let go due to Frank's frantic pleas. After that when ppl asked why we didn't manage to throw Frank in Frank said "Even Superman can't throw me in". That was bcos Suresh was wearing a shirt that had a Superman logo on it. The rest of the afternoon was spent talking and building Frank's "shit" u can go to his blog to see it. After that we went back to church for dinner and a durain feast. Yes and Simon came and visited us.. Our long lost friend. Well we caught up with him and stuff and glad to know he's doing fine.

Triple invitations
Well today my Mst week is officially over meaning time to take a break :) Well i think i'll fare okay for 3 of my papers and poorly for 1. Well what's done is done, just got to learn from my mistakes. Wishing myself good marks for the papers. Today I was asked to 3 different dinners. Firstly the 1 which i went to, the one with my 2 good friends. We just ate dinner and played cards and chit chat from 6:30-9pm. A way to celebrate the end of my papers. It had to end early as one of my friend still had a paper tmr. My friend is going overseas for a couple of weeks and so the 3 of us met as he had promised to. The next would be celebrating Sophraine and Shawn's birthday. Well i couldn't make it so just wishing u 2 a Happy Birthday and may all ur dreams come true. Lastly, when exams were over today, my class said that they were going to Sashimi at Pasir Ris to eat and asked me to come along. So many of them asked me and persistently. They brought up many different arguments and persuasions but i had to turn them down unfortunately. For once I took the train with more then half my class back to my station. Quite interesting to note that lots of days are free but when invitations come they tend to clash.

Computer Gaming Vs Music
Well according to my piano teacher, he says that 1 cant do well in both computer games and in music. He says that there are different attributes required to be good in either of them. As far as he is concerned, he has not seen anyone do well in both. They would do well in one and poorly in the other. Well i got to agree with him as i doubt that one has the time to do both whole heartedly but i only wonder if someone has the natural flair for one, how about the possibility of doing well in both? Strangely, I have been improving in computer games recently and u wonder has my piano standard dropped? I don't think so it is rather gradually improving. But say I am improving but not doing Xtremely well in either so i got to say i guess my teacher is right. Yea and from now onwards since I decided to make a stand for music over computer games, that means that I should practice 3 hours of piano everyday. So I'll probably update everyday on the hours i practice. Its meant to make me want to fulfil the hours. It'll be fun I am sure. Just that i think i am just addicted to computer games that dims my omnipresent interest in music. Maybe i ought to create a log or something. I wonder how.

MST Week
Well this week is my MST week(Mid Semester Test). Today I had Programming test. It is passable but i don't think i can score well. Hope the marks are up to my expectations. The weightage is 20% of this module. Well tmr I'll be having Digital Electronics and it is only 5% of the module marks. So little. Even class performance marks is higher at 10%. Class performance is just participation in class like answering qns, being attentive, not getting on the teacher's bad side, doing ur hw and maybe if the teacher like u? Similarly, on Wed, my main module Electrical and Electronic Engineering is supposedly 5% according to my friend. And lastly on Thurs, Math is 15%. Not very motivated to study for 5%. I guess u can say every mark counts and well I'll just study since its exams. U think i should blog more often than this don't u? Well i sure have the time. What i need is motivation~

Sushi at Somerset
Yesterday i slept at 2 plus. Well i didn't intend to but ended up talking to my bro for an hour plus. It was also bcos i did some housework at night kinda late bcos i fell asleep and woke up at around 8:45.This morning i woke up at 7:45, read the soccer news on who won the FA cup which was Chelsea whilst drinking a cup of milo. After that i went to sleep. Woke up at 9:30 later at started doing my math hw. Washed dishes b4 i left at 11:15 to Somerset mrt. Well was 3 min late. But it didnt really matter too much as there were others quite much later. We walked from there to Cineleisure the Suki sushi. There were plenty of seats as it only opened at 12 noon. We went in and were ushered to our seats. Waited for them to come around and those of us who had showed them our student passes. It gives us a discount of around 3 dollars plus. Then we started to dig in. In a short amount of time, my table which contained the guys stacked up 20 plus plates. They all took around 5 plates each while i only took 2. Later when Shawn was complaining that he was very full i didnt really feel full at all. Was probably at 50%. Then ate more till around 70 plus percent. By then most of them were very full. So we just left. Feeling quite confident that i made my buffet value for money We then went to the arcade and watched others play such as Chih Cheng playing some shooting games and Shawn play his drum set and Para para, some dancing game. I played a game myself too though dunno what its called. After that we went downstairs and saw Uncle Boon Par singing outside. Didnt expect him to be there. Heard him sing 2 songs which was really good. Heard a couple of songs from others too since it was ending. The Singapore Street Arts festival that was what it is. The others were commenting on how well the 9 year old girl sang. Which in my opinion was good for her age. Like of course i wouldn't have done better. After that we went back except for a few which went shopping. I went back with Uncle Boon Par so i had the opportunity to catch up with him as well as learn more about pop music genre. There was really alot to learn from him. I enjoyed the conversation as much as he did. Well after that i headed home glad for today. A Sunday spent differently from normal.

April b4 poly life
Well this is April b4 my poly life at a glance. One fine Sunday, I was sleeping and it was nine plus, I was awaken by my bro to hear some knocking at my door. My bro told me it was the delivery man. Then i remembered it was my laptop! So i rushed out and opened the door, proceeded to sign some documents and immediately setup my laptop. I backed up the necessary stuff as well. I enjoyed using my laptop ever since though it has slowed down significantly. That day has brought a change in my usage on computers to high usage on laptop. The next day, I played soccer. Played at a street soccer court at Safra. It was an artificial turf. Had to pay some money for it. It was worth it just liked my friend said. Well starting i was like on form and kept scoring. My friend called me Torres. Well if u dun know he is the no 1 striker for Liverpool, my favourite club. I think altogether i scored more then 10 goals? we played for 3 hours we rests in between. It was fantastic except that it screwed up the shoe i was wearing. The rubber sole at the back of one of my shoe came out and it was in pieces. Well got really exhausted that day and my muscles ached for like 3 days. So i rested till that Saturday which was night cycling. Night cycling is kinda long to post so I'll leave it for next time. I went to SP 3 times b4 sch officially started. Once for registration as a student of SP. Well i was part of SP but i had to like do the documentation and stuff. Took my photo which looked angry cos i was like rushing so probably affected my smile. Was supposed to cut my hair but did not. Anyway they didnt bother. Left and rushed to guess where? Church chalet lor. The second time i went SP was like for those students who either failed A math or did not take it. Had to take up some prepmath programme to prepare us b4 sch starts to ensure that we would be able to cope with Enginnering Math when sch started. Well the prepmath was quite easy but i helped me to refresh my math. The last time was to configure my laptop. So that it can use the SP wireless and install their programmes. Since we were the last group and they had to close. So we only installed the vital stuff that had to be installed there. Installed the rest on my own another day at home. They gave us free microsoft word, powerpoint etc. But we had to use McAfee anti virus. Btw i went there with my close friend. Had not seen him in a while so took the time to catch up with him. I know u wanna know about my life in Poly but I'll leave that for next time. Hehehe :P

Yong Siew Toh Conservatory piano concert
So much time has passed since i last blogged. Well okay was lacking of motivation to do so. About the church camp i just feel kinda lazy to blog about it. Anyway Frank has done a great job on his blog which u might like to check out if u have not already done so. Its quite a few weeks ago though.
On 24 March(Tuesday)
I rmb that i had to return my library books and that it was overdue by a day. So went to return them and had to pay a minimal fee of $0.15 per book per day. i returned them after i came back from going to a concert cos i had not read the finished. I left the house at around 6pm and headed towards Clementi. I bought some bread along the way for my dinner as I had left the house late. I could have reached the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory on time but since i was unfamiliar with the place i reached there about 15 min late. Well i should have had given myself more time to journey there since it was my first time going there. I missed the first 2 pieces and part of the 3rd piece. Cos it was being shown on a TV outside the concert hall what was going on at the piano. Oh ya, it was a fully piano concert which my piano teacher had recommended me to go. Its free admission to anyone except children under 6 as there are afraid they might make noise and disturb the listeners. Well the performers are the uni students and there are quite good. Worth watching. Well normally not even half the seats are filled so not to worry there are lots of empty seats. Its a first come first serve basis and free sitting. That day i went it was about a third filled. Cant really describe the pieces to u but i liked the feeling of listening to a live performance and not a recording cos the piano just sounds different. There is a different feeling to it which i enjoyed. Won't mind going there anytime soon. I'll try to blog up to date b4 poly starts and then it'll depend if my blog is alive or dead!

IT Show 2009
I'll post for past week most of the days. I'll post for Thurs first. The rest of the days another day, bit by bit.
Thurs
Woke up at 8:40. Went downstairs to buy some bread. Then steamed tuna for my brunch. Talked to Frank on msn for a while then prepared and left to meet him. Reached City Hall MRT at 10:40. We went to wait for the free shuttle bus that never came. It seemed that we were waiting at the wrong place. Tried to look for it but ended up walking to Suntec Convention Centre. We went outside the Hall at Level 6 and proceeded to eat our sandwhiches. It was a budget method to save on lunch money cos the food there was expensive. We went in and covered the entire level 6 which was frank stuff and then to level 4 which was the laptop i wanted. There were 3 or 4 HP shops there. But when i could not find the laptop i wanted, I thought that they did not sell the laptop. Got kinda worried and obviously relieved when i found it. Called my dad to come down to make the purchase but he was busy. We took the time to check around for laptop bags and mouse. We then met Terrence and Charmaine for lunch. Later we went to Funan together to purchase laptop bags, mouse and for me a thumbdrive as well as I did not have 1. The laptop i purchased is the HP Pavilion DV4 1301TX. It comes with the laptop bag what they said earlier when i asked. So in a sense wasted money on a laptop bag. But on the bright side i got a laptop bag which i wanted. Anyway the laptop bags can always come in handy next time. Later went back to the IT show with my dad and paid for the laptop which will be delivered to me this Sunday. Went home exhausted but a memorable experience indeed.(Sounds a bit classic)

Piano lesson
Today i realised that my arms and legs could feel the cramp. I must have overexerted myself ytd. Well what's done is done. I'll try not to go thru that again. Well today i managed to wash the dishes by covering my right hand in plastic bag. Got my bro to help me tie it. But it still became damp. Anyway i can feel slight pain from my blisters when i stretch my fingers. Today had piano lesson. Felt happy with myself after the last 2 weeks of feeling miserable. I shall continue to indulge in my interest and strive for excellence(improvement). Thinking to myself..Jia You...
The last 3 days
Haven't posted for a week so I'll post the last three days.
Sunday
Its my mum's turn in the family gathering. So my relatives are coming over at night for dinner and fellowship, etc. Had lots of housework to do then to put our house in order. Mopped the floors, washed dishes, cleaned windows, fold clothes, cleaned chairs(stools), scrub toilet floors, washed outside the house. That's was what i did for the day and the first relatives to come came at 6 plus. Helped out with last min cleaning up and baking. Had my dinner. After that played the board game, The Game of Life. 4 of us played. It was really fun not to mention that i have not played boardgames for ages. The added fun was that i won. Anyway its just a game, even if i did not win it'll still be enjoyable having fun with my cousins. Wished them goodbye and then did the clearing up.
Monday
Went to Sim Lim square and Funan with Frank. Covered all the floors that sold laptops. Didn't go all the shops though as some were repetitive(just gleaned thru them). I took home alot of brochures and even shortlisted about 5 laptops i would like to buy. I have a budget so its much easier to eliminate all the laptops that did not meet the criteria. Anyway i would like to thank Frank for helping me out in choosing my laptop plus the 4 hours plus spent there.
Tuesday
Met my friend at around nine and went to the stadium with him. That was to do exercise. First i jogged 2.4 km then i had an attempt on holding on the pullup bar for as long as i could and it was cumulative meaning i had to hold on for a total of 3 min. Had lots of trouble and even got 4 blisters on my hand after only 1 and a half min. Went to do the other exercises such as leg raises, jumping jacks and crunches. Later i still attempted the pull up bar but could not make it cos of the blisters( was a bit of a crazy idea i think). So i did another exercise to replace it. Total exercise time inclusive of rests was 1 and a half hour but i spent alot of time on the pullup bar. I'll say the months of neglect of exercise have shown. Well the blisters hurt whenever i touch water but i still go about doing my daily activities just endure the pain( pain but not that intense). So quite pain still. I have not done the dishes since although i attempted it but couldn't carry it out cos was like ouch! I got to rmb to my other exercises this week.

SOTA
Surprise,Surprise! I never knew that the girl that had violin lessons b4 my piano lessons is in SOTA (School of the Arts). When i was told i was just very surprised that i went like huh? My teacher thought i did not know what SOTA was but i assured him i knew. The girl is in sec 2 or 3. (i forgot her name) Was only told her name once or twice. I am supposed to practice piano 3 hours a day but am falling way short of day. That makes it 18 hours a week. I aim to hit 10 hours this week. Its really alot to me. That's probably also why i should not do music for my own sake. Don't really can do long hours of practice. My teacher has suggested lots of various methods to help me. Soon I'll fulfill the target alrite. Speaking of which, someone wants to go SOTA too. Wish u all the best (: Ganbatte. Anyway, Shawn has just started blogging again a week ago. Go check out his blog? I feel its quite good.

Bookmark
I have just read another 2 Agatha Christie books. Yup, i went to the library yesterday. But not to borrow another book by Agatha Christie. Instead i borrowed books from 2 different authors recommended to me by my friend. Its also a mystery book except its not always murder. Well the 2 authors are Jeffery Archer and Philip Margolin. My average is reading a book in 10 days. Thats about 30 pages a day. Maybe it'll increase now that I'm free but it might not too.(Cos i will do other stuff) I have always been using a particular bookmark since after my 'O's. Its an orange tiger and there are some words behind. Its by the Singapore Zoo. This is what it says- Tigers are in great demand for their fur. They are also killed for their bones and other body parts which are used in traditional medicines. The illegal trade in this highly endangered species is one of the reasons why there are less than 9000 tigers remaining in the wild.. How can we help: Do not buy products made from tiger parts. Ok that was a bookmark for the 25th anniversary of SG Zoo. Well i have been using it but not really taking note of what it said. Just read it a few times b4. But i always see the tiger and it really is a striking image in my mind. Well ok that's that for books and bookmarks.

Time spent with Chuan Hoe Youths
Got combined youth meeting last Saturday. It was not bad. But it had to rain as the weather forecast predicted. They prayed for it not to rain as the sky was overcast. The rain did stop for some while and they were saying like we started singing and the rain stopped. Well i felt that by doing that they were claiming that thru their actions and not God that the rain stopped. Meaning thru works and not faith. Maybe i am getting a little too judgemental here. But in saying what they said i felt sure it was going to rain. Well it did and it was a heavy downpour. A group of them used a groundsheet as an umbrella to shelter them to transport stuff to the bus. It was rather interesting. The scene was nothing short of amusing especially the way 3 of them came back. Dinner was okay but got caught in the rain along the way back. For Sunday, i went to Discovery centre in the morning. We were supposed to meet at 9 at Boon Lay MRT station. As usual got the same group of pple that were rather late. Discovery centre was ok just that probably not worth $15. At least got 2 shows so it was alrite. Also went to "cycle" the boat. It was an experience. Had my expensive lunch then walked around looking at what shops were selling. Window shopping it is called i think. After that i went home. Discovery centre was really an experience worth it but i won't want to go there anytime soon.

I am free (:
I haven't blogged for almost a week and actually have had a lots to say. I'll try to blog as much as i can rmb. I'll blog for Wednesday and Friday for today. On Wednesday, at night, i went to piano teacher's house as usual. But this time i just was being observant and took in the sights and sounds around me. I noticed that there was Singapore Post and some major buildings that i was appalled to not have seen ever for the last 3 months. I was thinking alot. About quite a few things. Like work, going out and friends. I was really quite busy then. I was also reading as usual. (This sounds like a journal to me somehow) Well Friday then. I woke up relieved that all my work was over (: I went out at 11 plus to and met up with my friends at Bedok interchange.(2 of them) We ate lunch and then went for a compulsory checkup. We played abit of gameboy colour(imagine that). That's cos my 1 friend forgot to charge his psp and another lent his Nintendo DS to another person. Didn't really play it cos we got really bored quickly. Spent most of the time talking. The checkup had lots of different tests such as Urine test, eye test, blood pressure,heart,X-ray. The total process including waiting time took approx 1hr 45 min. With waiting time being about 1 hour 15 min. After that we went to Bedok NTUC and just walked around idly looking for things to buy to eat and drink. Ended up buying mineral water and some chocolates mint thing. We went to Bedok library as they wanted to pass time as it was still early. Read some comics there. Went home at 5 plus. I was really happy to have spent some time with my friends instead of going home to play computer games. Cos there was the urge to play as i have not done so much for quite a while. Ok that's it for this 2 days. For that week it was really one i had to pull thru. Well i finally got thru so i am happy naturally. A few things i forgot to do but i shan't mention it :P

Relieved
Had to teach on Saturday. Quite sure many of u didn't know. I got myself worried from Friday afternoon at 4 plus onwards till i finally taught the lesson finish. Was not exactly worrying all that time but was worried all right. I prepared what i could and prayed for God to guide me. Saturday came. My, was i nervous. Had to keep calming myself down periodically. I think i was too nervous that it was impossible for me to hide it. But i kept my focus away from it and instead focused on the lesson. I managed to teach what i wanted at it ended at 11:50. I was thinking it was early but just had to close. Cos better to end then to bore them.( cos not the right way) I was obviously relieved that my job was done but at the same time felt a sense of disappointment in not doing well. But i reasoned it was average and since it was my first try I just accepted it and told myself to try better next time. Later when i asked, i found out that the students liked my teaching after all. Of course i was all smiles. Thanks alot(U know who u are) So i have overcome my hurdle (:
Was looking at the live commentary as i posted this. The Liverpool vs man city match. Here is the stats. For the shots(On goal), Liverpool 23(3) and Man city 10(3). Oh yea the match ended 1-1. Nooooo. So Man U is now 7 pts ahead of Liverpool. Don't feel like blogging more about this.

Lots of different things to do
How to teach i wonder. Well got to pull it off somehow tmr. Got to go finish up lots of undone stuff as well. I'll pull thru all this somehow. I had lots of stuff to say during the past week but did not find the time to blog. Well can't rmb quite alot of stuff already. Well just to say of some i remember. I have heard more haste makes less speed and to play fast is really to play slow. U might be wondering what i mean. But i don't think it needs explanation. It needs to be tried out to know. And so I feel then a practical experience is much more powerful then the best speech u could hear. Anyway i have not managed the temptation not to play. Too long never play hands itchy. Anyway next week i know i can do whatever i want(almost to that extent). For now i think i should stop blogging and do the work i have to do. Ciao.

First Cycling Trip in a Long Time
Went cycling today with my best friend (: Well we went to the Tampines cycling trail. It was thrilling and fun indeed. Our total time cycling was only one and a half hours though cos i had some work to do and he had to go off as well. Anyway my fitness levels is much lower then last time i believe due to much inactivity during the past months by studying/working. Well come end of Feb i will go outdoors more and likely under the sun as well. I have at least 6 weeks to thoroughly enjoy myself. The working so far was worth it as i have learnt a lot from it. Freedom is near. Well i have indeed enjoyed my time during the hol working(got relax oso) and its time to move on to fun, fun, fun!!! Not quite yet.. As soon as i am done with the work that is. Got deadline oso but finish earlier the better. There is a saying which goes "Work first, play later" or is it just what the adults tell us? I am sorry for not posting for so long and yesterday which i said i would. I will try to post on alternate days and at least twice a week.

Friday the 13th
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Friday_the_13th. This is the link about the superstition behind Friday the 13th. According to it we have 3 Friday the 13th this year. That is the max number of Friday 13ths a year. Oh yea about my exercise i have only done it once and oh my, i am weak. I changed my reasoning. Becoming stronger is one of the primary reasons why i want to exercise as well. Finally got my Chopin etudes book. Actually it has both Chopin Etudes and Preludes. This amounts to slightly over 50 songs in the book. And it only cost $24 I feel its quite a reasonable price indeed. Got to learn the Chopin etudes in order that's what my piano teacher says. So can't learn my favourite ones first. Well of course i have to follow what he says. But i am not doing this out of no choice as i said b4. I understand the reason thus i follow the method. Tmr is Valentine's Day. Oh lets see i can hardly rmb many significant Valentine's Day like at least 1 or 2. Dun sad ok cos i dun give pple Valentine day present 1. I have been sleeping at 1 or 2 plus the last 4 or so days. Personally, i rather sleep earlier like at 11 or 12 plus. But staying up late also got some advantages. Well those are not really important compared to sleeping earlier. So I'll like try to sleep earlier.

Same course as me
Wah shock man. On Sunday was chatting with my friend on msn then i asked him which course he got into. He told me he got into clean energy at SP. I thought he was pulling my leg... Such a coincidence lor. Anyway he was serious so yea i now have a friend who is in the same course as me :) Its gonna be fun. At least i got someone i know in the same course. Things look pretty bright even though many have questioned my decision to go to SP instead of TP. Yesterday was a record number of unfamiliar people i talked to as well as friends. I think i talked to 13 different people. Could have been more though cos i skipped talking to some pple i would if not for the newcomers. I talked to say 5 pple i did not have their msn address nor contact no. Talked to them thru facebook lor then got their e-mails. Feeling rather privileged again to be having hol. Well i got to rmb to do some kind of exercises if not i will remain very weak. Anyway my motive for exercise is not really to get strong but to keep fit and healthy. Of course i would be lying though if i said i did not want to become stronger but that is one of the reasons though not the primary reason.

A wrong assumption
Dunno if u rmb what i said about the beggar btwn the interchange and the Library. Well he's still there. Man, i was shocked when i saw him today. This time he did ask me to buy a packet of tissues. Yes for $2. That's absurd. I feel that when one begs he should not sell stuff. But rather just let pple donate. I dun think he really managed to sell much as i could see he had quite a lot of tissue packets left. I have made a wrong assumption in presuming that he would be chased away and that i would never see him again. 3 weeks ago i saw him and there he is again today. Looks like what i speculated about the pple making phone calls to the police were too far fetched. Well he is still raising funds for the student project. Moving on, i was actually rushing my way to the Library and back. When i was queueing up to borrow my books i was taken aback when i saw a familiar face turn around and walked past me. She said my name in an inquiring tone. i turned around and saw my history classmate. I just waved and just so did she. She was with another guy presumably her bf. Doesn't matter anyway. I managed to reach home within an hour although i could have been faster. Feeling kinda tired for being in such a hurry all to come back fast in record time. Well gtg wash dishes b4 my parents come back. Byez.

I made a mistake
zzz. Noooo, i made a mistake. I wasted 12 CDs cos i burn them in wrong format. This sucks. i got to be more careful such as rmb to return my library books tmr as it is the due date. How could i be so careless? good thing i found out the mistake b4 i burned all 24 for this set but.. its being too careless on my part. I am indeed lamenting myself for a simple mistake that ought not to have been. Concentration is very impt. But i was or maybe i was doing things on auto mode. Whatever it is its not too late to strive for perfection. I will not let this happen again seriously. It was unexpected. But maybe my father saw this coming as he reminded me to change the format. i feel rather dumb to have had done this. o.0, -.-'''. oh the stupidity of it all. A calamity? a bit extreme. I am growing up into a world where 1 mistake can cos u ur job. Simple mistakes in my opinion cannot be excused for. When 1 grows older more is always expected and thus more responsibilities. Haste makes waste. Pls do not placate me.

4 books-Agatha Christie
Well i have read my fourth book on Agatha Christie. Coincidentally, the tile is "The Big Four". All her books are a mystery thriller indeed. There are 3 different groups of characters that are the detectives in all her novels. They are Hercule Poirot, Miss Jane Marple, Tommy & Tuppence. The books i have read so far in order are 4:50 from Paddington, Dead Man's Folly, Partners in Crime and The Big Four. All of them are interesting to no end. Well that's what i like to do with my spare time, reading on trains and on buses. If u consider reading and love mystery thrillers this is my suggestion. To read Agatha Christie. At least 1 of her books. Well since many of u have hectic schedules it is advisable u do not read this in case u get hooked. Well of course no harm done by reading while travelling except don't miss ur bus/train stop. It happened to me a few days back. Luckily it was only 1 train stop. Cos i tend to be more careful on buses about when my stop is. maybe u who are studying might rather read ur textbooks instead of reading irrelevant material for leisure. Or have reading textbooks become obsolete as we rely on our teacher's notes.

Trip to Yamaha music store
About 2 weeks ago, i went to the Yamaha to buy a music book. Its Chopin Etudes. Unfortunately, it seems that i could not as the store was closed for stock keeping. So i got my piano teacher to buy it for me instead. Well up to now my teacher has not bought it for me. He was quite busy indeed. Well i have kinda started learning the etudes. My teacher said i had to learn it in order as it was for that purpose it was written it order. Thus explaining to me and i got the logic i wholeheartedly decided that it was the best way forward. Got to be practicing hard yea. Well ever since i got my current piano teacher in Dec 08 i was and am thoroughly convinced that he is the right piano teacher for me. His methods and all have been nothing short of my expectations. Well i said i try not to talk about soccer so soon so I'll just say its heartbreak for me to know that Gerrard is injured for 3 weeks.

SP-Clean Energy
Yoz. Lol. Long time no post. Well last Friday, i received my posting of courses. My friend told me it would be out at 8 am in the morning. I must have been anxious or something as i woke up at around 7:20. I did not check my phone at first cos i knew it was still early. Just somehow decided to check my phone and ooh at 7:24 i saw an sms. Duh, i was excited. Well immediately scrolled down the msg to see which course i got in as the first part was my particulars. Very happy to have got in my first choice which is clean energy in Singapore Poly. Quite a few of my friends and pple i know are going there or there already. Lets see... its at least 8 others. Well, Liverpool beat Chelsea 2-0 :) Wohoooo. Soccer again... No choice la. Liverpool win big game i want to post. I'll try not to post about soccer until maybe end of Feb or when Liverpool are top of the table again(whichever is earlier). Recently its been very smoky around my house. ppl burning for some reason. A few pieces of ash even flew into my house. So smoky lor. well its just too bad. Hmm i got hol until April 13 when my poly starts. I'll be totally free from march to April 13, a total of 6 weeks. Gonna start planning what i am gonna do with the time i have. I am going to utilise it so that i won't regret.

A trip to the Library
On Mon i went to the Regional Library(near my house) to return my books. I was dozing off in the bus as i had slept st 2 the night b4(earlier in the morning). I had to wake up at 8 too. All that was to do some last min work. But no complaints cos its an experience one has to go through sooner or later. Well i borrowed 4 books of the author Agatha Christie. Will talk about these books another time after i have finished reading. Well as i was walking back to the interchange i went to buy some pancakes. The cashier had dropped some donuts on the floor with the plastic bags(not sure if the donuts were in the plastic bag). She claimed that the donuts did not touch the floor but neither i nor the customer could see if it did or not. Well the cashier obviously tried to push the item to the customer to buy it. But seeing the reluctance from the customer the cashier offered to change it which the customer readily accepted. The usual pushy food stalls pple i see once a while. Later as i was nearing the interchange i saw a man who looked in his 40s begging people who passed by to donate $2 for a student project. I walked past him and saw a student looking at him some distance away. I looked at her and she returned my stare. I just looked away.I think she might be behind the one who's cos the man to beg. Well i saw another person using the hp while looking at the man begging. I supposed she could be calling the police? Well anyway felt sorry for this man lor. But won't donate to able bodied pple who can work. Just went home after that. That's that then.

Liverpool 1 Everton 1
Well haven't posted the last 3 days u realise. Couldn't think of what to post actually that's why. Well Liverpool drew 1-1 with Everton at home. Late equaliser from Cahill of Everton. Liverpool certainly did not deserve this but Torres was too wasteful and far from his best form. Not the no. 9 striker pple would expect. Well its captain fantastic to save the day again. Well Gerrard is due for a hearing on Jan 23 for an alleged assault in a nightclub i think. All the best to him. No jail sentence pls. Well i selected the clean energy course as my top choices for poly. Hope i can get in. Its quite a popular course i heard. The posting of results on the courses will be on 30th Jan (more or less by a few days). For those of u who might envy me that i dun have to go to sch for abt 3 months, not to worry ur turn will come. Actually it used to be longer. Well i don't need such a long holiday at all. I dun mind the normal 2 months hol for sec sch students. Oh yea just in case u didn't know, clean energy is an engineering course. I'll get into an engineering course i believe unless something seriously wrong has befallen me. Well like to wish everyone success this year. Work hard and reap ur reward.

Submission of JAE Application Form
Just submitted my JAE form for application to Poly earlier. I have chosen my choices. Its quite unlike what i said yesterday. Now TP its not so likely. But still it all depends. Quite a relief it is. Now that the selection headache is over. I'll be informed of the posting soon i believe. Well i can't wait. I'm gonna have fun playing badminton tmr.

Temasek Poly-The likeliest of destinations
I will be going Temasek Poly(TP). Thats 90% chance. Well i have gone to TP today to inquire about the courses with my friends. I like about 2-3 of them . Now i need to figure out what i should put for the 12 choices i have. Why TP u might ask. Convenience is 1 thing and being together with my friends is another. As well as the standard being 2nd best and not far away from the best, SP. Well the courses i like are in TP so I'll go there baring an unexpected outcome. Well i am currently learning the toccata in e minor by Bach. Its quite a pain to me as i am especially weak in the baroque pieces (esp Bach). I might go for the Laselle audition but not necessarily to enter the sch. Well nvm i should not think this way. I'll put my heart into all that i do. Now the clock is ticking to the countdown to the closure of the JAE application for JC/POLY.

3 in 1
Man U beat Chelsea 3-0 on Mon morning. Unbelievable! The scoreline is too emphatic to be true. Well Liverpool is dead for now as man u looks set to top the table. The title race is long so not to worry. Anyway i also received my O lvl results yesterday. I got what i predicted. Though not up to my aim. Well i am contented with my result and a little happy. Are my expectations too low? I hope not. Well i won't type my score on my blog and the same applies to the rest of u for my blog. Meaning don't post my results on the tagbox. Anyway if u want to know my results just ask me. As i said just not on my blog. I also went to Laselle today for a look around. Just to see how things are like there. Well i might be applying to enter and audition. I know it won't be easy but if there's a will there's a way. That's what i believe. Got to concentrate on choosing the right course for poly first though. Thinking of learning a 2nd instrument, but well I'll see about that. So my hol are still not coming to an end since i am not going to jc. Poly starts in April i think or maybe March. I'll be trying out Poly Life first. If i get into Laselle then i might go there instead. It depends. But finally I'll have to be making the right choice.

Trip to Night Safari
Hi :) I'll like to recommend this song. Its Hungarian Rhapsody No 2 by Liszt. Here is the link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=goeOUTRy2es&feature=related%20-%20lol. Hope u enjoy it. Well its Man U vs Chelsea tonight at 12 midnight (so its actually tmr). Hope they draw but the favourites for this match is Man U. Well Liverpool have just drew at Stoke today. A slip up. Well Man U is looking more dangerous than Chelsea at the moment so I'll rather Chelsea win. A draw would be the best result for Liverpool i believe. Why i am i talking about this? I should be more concerned about my own results. Don't want to worry myself unnecessarily thats why. Well Night Safari was great yesterday. It was rather different I'll say. Cos during the animal shows there were some interesting events. First glitch in the programme was that the owl that was supposed to fly to the keepers hand by the blowing of whistle instead did not move at all despite several attempts. It excreted/peed (i don't know which) on the audience although none got hit. Sure there were squeals from the audience. Then the owl flew off into the trees. There was an animal supposed to put cans into a recycling box as part of the promotion for recycling but it took several minutes to try and put a can into the box but it finally managed with assistance from the keeper. There were other problems such as coordination as well. The animal was supposed to stay and wait for the keeper to talk about it but it left before the keeper had finished. The snake(i think it was python) was placed around a volunteer's neck but its tail bothered the man (shall not go into details) much to the annoyance of the keeper. So many glitches in the programme indeed. I think that's all. Too bad i can't really rmb the names of the animals at all. But i certainly did enjoy myself there. It was a rather interesting Night Safari visit indeed.

TP Open House
Went to Temasek Poly open house yesterday. Well the thing that i found out is that i am not going to design faculty for sure. Just don't suit me. Went with 4 of my friends. We went round the sch about 2 times. Haven't read most of the brochures yet :-p I'll be looking at my options after i get my results. Things look quite bright at the moment except that i still have no idea where i should go. Well i also went to class chalet yesterday. Not that fun as i expected. But my friends all had the same opinion. They say it was supposed to be different. Well i didn't regret going there though. Cos its the last time I'll get to see many of my classmates cos after we get our results, many of us will go our own ways. Well I'll miss them. Looking forward to a new path in life as well. Feeling a little anxious though.

Haven't had music lesson in weeks
Haven't had music lessons in weeks. Well i really miss it. Had to miss those lessons due to the Christmas and New year period. Going to have it soon. Feeling quite excited cos i really love music lessons. Well i'll say that my piano teacher is really good as in i find that i learn alot from him. Even though i have to travel i really dun mind. A good teacher is one that inspires thats what one of my friends said. Well i think my teacher does inspire me to do better but i think that his inspiration is subjective. Whenever i have my music lessons i come out refreshed. well, what i mean is that i just feel like i've learnt alot. i think i repeat myself abit is this post but well repetition is for emphasis. K gtg then ciao.

Where should i go to?
Been thinking recently about my future. Well I've got to decide where i want to go. JC, Poly or maybe Laselle,NAFA. Currently Poly looks like the likeliest destination. But i wonder which course will i like? Got to choose wisely. well i have about 3 more weeks to decide. Not that long though. Hmm well the paths lie b4 me. Which path do i take? Going to the open houses and see what its like. Well hope i find out my interest and choose wisely. 1 that I'll not regret. Well going to enjoy the last bit of my hols. as well as do some useful stuff. Time is ticking. Time flies and b4 i know it my 'O' lvls results will be out. Now its gonna be okay. If not I'll be doomed won't I?

Trip to Esplanade
Today i went to the esplanade. Went there by myself as usual. Glad to have found the music scores for classical(esp chopin). I don't know why i couldn't find them the previous time i was there. Lol. I have managed to make myself borrow more than half non chopin material. Tend to borrow almost all chopin related stuff. Whether i use them really depends. Haha... Esplanade has a differnet air about it. Its a special kind of feeling i get when i go there. Not everytime but at least the first few times i go there and every now and then. For those of u who don't appreciate classical music it'll still be gd to go to the esplanade library at least once to see how its like. Well then signing off :P

Reason for not posting recently
Well I have not posted the last few days simply bcos i was wondering whether it should be just soccer n music or what else. I have decided that it'll be soccer/music stuff unless when there are other things to talk about. I'll just like to say that i'll be posting quite regularly from tmr onwards.
