My Favourite Composer
Today I'll talk about music. Well i only learn 1 instrument which is the piano. This excludes simple instruments like recorder, shakers, castinet, triangle, etc. Yea i have some favourites alrite. My favourite composer is Frederic Chopin. So not surprisingly my favourite genre is the Romantic genre. My favourite pianist would be Yundi Li and my favourite piece would be La Campanella by Paganini and arranged by Lizst for the piano. Well it might be surprising that my favourite piece is not composed by Chopin but its bcos my favourite piece changes from time to time. More about me in relation to the piano is that i am an average pianist not a piano 'machine' though. Piano 'machines' are pple who play the piano and sounds very mechanical like midi music. Sorry if i offended anyone but its just my own term. Well i am not doing music for a career(although it can change anytime since there are still possibilities). Well don't rate me too highly in my piano skills yea. I am just doing what i love and enjoying my priviledge of doing what i like. If u want to encourage me in my music career why not encourage those that want to go for it. So yea thats just a basic introduction of me and my relation to music.

Liverpool top of the EPL in the New Year
Today is going to be about soccer again unfortunately for some of u. Well the reason i am talking about it today is bcos Liverpool are going to be top of the table when its New Year. This is as they rout Newcastle 5-1. I'll say too bad for Chelsea fans as they watch Chelsea draw Fulham 2-2. Man U are going to pose a strong challenge should they win all their games in hand. Well the reason why i am so happy is bcos being on the top of the table during New Year means that Liverpool have got an 80 percent chance of winning the league title come May. Well since almost no one is really bothered if the songs are on shuffle or not, I'll just decide. Btw, school is just round the corner for all the pri & sec sch students so I'll just say spend ur holidays wisely cos its almost over.

Champions League round of 16 draws
The champions league round of 16 draw came out slightly more than a week ago. Well i would like to let u guys see it.[ VILLARREAL v PANATHINAIKOS, SPORTING LISBON v BAYERN MUNICH, ATLETICO MADRID v PORTO, LYON v BARCELONA, REAL MADRID v LIVERPOOL, ARSENAL v ROMA, INTER MILAN V MANCHESTER UNITED, CHELSEA v JUVENTUS ] Well as u can see, the Italian clubs are all pitted against the English clubs. Roma,Inter and Juventus being the Italian clubs. Well to me, such a coincidence is highly unlikely. I have a strange feeling about this. That it could be a conspiracy against the English clubs or something like that. This is as it is only natural that they do not want the English clubs to dominate the competition. Last season, it was 3 English clubs in the semi finals and an all English affair in the final. Well i am sure they are trying to prevent a repeat of such a thing. It does not really matter actually as it seems that Liverpool have got a quite good draw. Liverpool are facing off Real Madrid which would have been a daunting prospect had it been 5 years ago. Well i wouldn't write Real Madrid off but i am confident Liverpool will progress to the quarter finals. Well I am sure there would be an English clash in the quarter or semi finals as well as it is quite likely based on the trend of the past 4 seasons i have been following. Anyway it is just for the good of the game as the final would only be more interesting if it is an English side against a European side. Well enjoy this year's very interesting round of 16 come February.

Reading
Every Friday i wait for the new manga to come out. That is in particular the 2 of them i am following. Bleach and Naruto(esp Naruto). Today i have been waiting and waiting. It seems to me that when u wait for something, the wait is longer but when u do not bother about it, the wait is short. This applies even when its the same amount of time i am waiting. Maybe its just physiological but it seems to be that way at least for me. Well i have been reading a book over the last 10 days. Its by Agatha Christie, the queen of crime. Yes, its a mystery book that i had wanted to read for ages. This is not my first book though. This 1 is entitled Dead Man's Folly. Its 200 odd pages and indeed u can never guess who the muderer is(excluding random/wild guesses). If u have the time, just pick up one of her more famous novels and see if u like it. Well just want to ask if u, meaning all of u that come to my blog if u prefer the songs on my blog to be on shuffle or not? Pls state ur opinion in my tag box. Thanks.

Merry Christmas!!
Hi everyone, Merry Christmas to all of u. Well today i went to one of my church friends house for lunch. Well i socialised, chatted and we played some group games later on. Although i kept getting 'forfeited', it was fun. Well there was no forfeit actually as the adults did not want such measures imposed. After that we watched a movie entitled "Wall-e". Well its my first movie in a long while. It was not too bad after all. I did enjoy it. U might have known that Chistmas Day is actually a Pagan Festival. This is as its dedicated to the sun god. Anyway, just checking can u guys all hear my blog music?

AFF Suzuki Cup
Most of u should have already known that Singapore is out of the AFF Suzuki cup via a 1-0 loss to Vietnam at the national stadium. The first leg of the final btwn Thailand and Vietnam was played tonight at Bangkok which Vietnam won 2-1. I was indeed surprised. Well Vietnam have really improved so Singapore shouldn't feel ashamed having lost to Vietnam. Vietnam have reached the quarter finals of the Asia Cup as well. Surprisingly, the AFF Suzuki Cup is more lucrative than the Asia Cup. This is as in the Suzuki cup, its winners take all. This means only the winners of the cup get money worth about 100,000 dollars. Whereas the rest of the countries do not get even a cent. This is rather different from most competitions such as the Asia cup as countries/clubs get money for progressing to the next round. Well I'll no longer be surprised if Vietnam lifts the cup this Sunday. This shows how unpredictable football is. As the saying goes, "The ball is round, anything can happen".
