Ole,ole,ole!
Yesterday, washed, folded and hanged the clothes as usual. However, that was much more work to come. This was as my relatives were coming to our house that evening. Helped to cut vegetables, wash dishes, mop floor and various other things. Although some ppl came early it was almost done. After I was done with the work and it was time to eat. I felt really drained. Was quite tired physically for some reason. I ate 3 bowls of rice and 2 bowls of soup. (with ingredients of course) and felt really full after that so I didnt eat anymore. Had a really fun time with my counsin socialising and bonding and later on i did catch some action of the Liverpool vs Man U match. Well basically I was left all smiles and a good feeling left behind as Liverpool beat Man U 2-0. Today, I had to do some more dishes and bcos some food was leftover and today we cleared it up. So kinda sick of doing dishes though I'll be fine soon. Great that Liverpool are now back in the action again. If Liverpool had lost I could say that Liverpool would be playing less then second fiddle in the title race. For now, things look bright and hopeful.

Kindness exists
This week on one of the days I cam back home on bus I kinda overshot my bus stop by oversleeping. So I got down 2 bus stops after and walked back. As I took out my wallet 2 $0.50 coins dropped out. 1 dropped in the bus while the other rolled out onto the road. Being me, I did not want to block about 5 other ppl. So I just came out of the bus and waited for the bus to go to find the coin that dropped on the road. Surprisingly someone handed me back my coin. I didn't think that I'll get it back actually bcos normally ppl would bother only if u are looking and in this case I wasn't. Well so when I got back my money I could only mutter "Oh... Thanks". Well I managed to find the other coin on the road as well so it ended well. Yesterday when we were forming groups to do a business proposal, no one(including me) wanted to team up with a certain person. This was as ppl all feared his lacklustre attitude as he did not seem to care about his grades does leaving the workload to his group members as seen from the previous project. Things were going awry as other then that, a guy that rumoured to have liked the girl was being put in the same group much to the evident strong displeasure of the girl. The class leader solved the situation by being the "sacrifice". He and another classmate agreed to take the "reject" into his group. However it seemed that no one else wanted to fill up the last slot to make it 4 ppl in the group. I then joined them as I was the most familiar with them among the rest of us I felt and it would probably be better. Only my other friend and I were close to this "reject" and he said he was about to ask if he or I should join that group. But as I said I felt that this was for the best of all(including myself I think). Basically it allowed the other groups to reshuffle and also the girl managed to get a group without that guy although there was a sacrifice on her group's part as well as another group needed a leader in their group. Basically it was good to see kindness being displayed in my everyday life by the people around me. It was really a useful experience indeed.

Hol is over
My holidays are effectively over and what have I achieved during this 6 weeks? Academically i guess not alot. But I had lots of time to devote to other things such as music and Bible. Of course not to mention games as well as time to meet up with frens. The time has come for me to know how I fared in my mid yr. I hope not to many careless mistakes but other then that it'll be what I deserve. So no complains about that. Oh yea on the side note, Liverpool title challenge seems almost over so I guess I'll keep my expectations low. Recently I have joined a Bible class and learning about the prophecies is simply fascinating. Can't wait for each week's lesson. I have been trying to get 1 of my friend to take up Bible studies and I'll just say he is probably uncertain. More prayer would help and I'll leave it to the Holy Spirit to impress upon his heart. Well when poly starts I'll also try to ask another 1 or 2 frens to take up Bible study. I'll let God lead and To God be the Glory~

A Hectic Friday
Well yesterday I was rushing to go through the book that contained many hymns and praises as I was supposed to return it the next day. So I just went through 500 plus songs in a few hours. I was distracted and all but what I felt was the irrepressible feeling to practice piano and the pieces that I have learnt. I just played several minutes and that was all. But though I wished that I could have practiced more like perhaps 3 hours :P But anyway I am glad that I do have the fire in me to practice XD But I shall not celebrate too soon as it might only be temporary. So I've got to get myself going. Well my holidays are coming to an end in 8 days. Well it has kind of been long enough so I am willing to get back to school and hit the books. This does not stop me from keeping up my practice of piano or rather I should not let it. I was kinda anxious yesterday night as I did not know the pace I should play the song for worship. I handed it over to Olivine willingly when she offered her help as I was really unfamiliar with the song. However, the other song that very few ppl in the congregation knew how to sing I tried to play it and was pleased with my effort as I just did not know the pace but the pastor asked me to play faster and I managed to play while looking at him and answering him and then played the piece faster. I was rather impressed with how far I have come since I started playing for church. Of course I am not really good yet but still I am happy to be making progress and to be moving forward~

PIano lesson success
Well previously I mentioned that I had a deadline to fulfil by playing a piece up to standard and indeed I managed :) I want to just express that I felt really glad to have made it. But still I think more hard work needs to be put forth and I am in dire need of motivation. Well yesterday I went out to meet my 2 close frens for dinner. Things went as usual and we had fun. Both of them decided to compete who could drink faster. 1 drank plain water and the other drank 100 plus. Well it was half bottle and the person who drank 100 plus drank much faster. They said that water was too bland so he couldn't drink that fast. Soft drinks however taste sweet and that it was easier on the throat and to gulp down more and continuously. Oh yea, I have been learning a game called shogi. Its Japanese chess. I think some of u might know already. I have been learning for 50 odd days. Its more complicated then chess as when u capture the opponent pieces it becomes yours and u can drop the pieces on any empty square as yours as a move in the game. There is also promotion which is also very interesting. Well for a start you could just wikipedia to check out how to move the pieces basically and a rough idea of the game. If any of u are interested please let me know. I'll be more then willing to teach u. Well since this game is not popular here, we can play together online. So all those chess lovers please come and join me :))

Chelsea 2 Liverpool 0
I watched the Liverpool match from 11pm to 1am only to be disappointed by the outcome. It was 2-0 in favour of Chelsea. Liverpool played okay but lacked the cutting edge in front of goal. This reminds me of a few weeks back when I played soccer at Balastier. I scored the opening goal but after that I had a rather uneventful night mostly going in for the tackle but only for them to get past me. I was told to just mark and pressure the person but I only fulfilled my role at times. I did manage to set up a few goals as well which was good. Overall I'll say I was just happy for some exercise. Speaking of which, last Monday, about 9 of us cycled from East Coast Macdonalds to Changi village and back. It was organised by Terrence. Some of them cycled from Changi to East Coast and back instead. This is as Changi bike rental is much cheaper. It was 7 dollars for an hour + 1 hour free for very hour u rent at East Coast. However, it costs only $5 for an hour + 1 hour free for every hour u rent.(if i rmb correctly) Additionally u only have to pay for 5 hours meaning 15 dollars if u want to rent it for the whole day. That is really much cheaper then the 21 dollars paid for the 6 hours of our cycling trip. We covered a total of 38km in 3 hours plus for me which was slow. I got to try the bike Shawn rented which supposed to have cost $400. That bike is way better then mine as mine costs about 100 odd. I had a much better time cycling on the way back after we exchanged bikes much thanks to Shawn. Oh yea I've got to train up my muscle for pull ups for NS which I should have done during the holidays. Ahh really lots of things to do actually if I just do them all.

piano piece deadline
Hi guys (: I have not posted in a long time but I guess I'll resume blogging. Well the previous piano lesson I was given a 1 week chance to perfect my rhythm for a piece or change it. I guess rhythm is really not my forte but I'll have to devote time to make it work. If I can't do it then its okay I should not force myself. Well but for now till Wednesday I've got to give it my best. I need to be inspired. I need to fall in love with music to be able to devote my time to it. My teacher advises me to watch concerts which I guess I'll try to go to a few. I really wish then I just be practising, practising and practising. I know that 3 hours should be the amount and thats what I have to do. I am currently doing only an hour. No excuses as its holidays. Well even if its not I know I can afford the time. Inspiration is what I seek indeed. Hope I didnt bore u guys with this post. I'll be posting more interesting stuff then this in the next few posts~
