Clan becoming successful

Today I want to talk about my Battlestations clan :P Recently, we've been doing good on people participating, war points earned, morale and fun!! Thanks to a tactical masterstroke to drop tier, basically to get to a lower rank to fight easier opponents. It had been previously getting dull but now its rejuvenated, can't wait for more success~

Its been 4 weeks of holiday and it has gone by rather fast. Worked through much of it but still had my fair share of enjoyable moments. 1 would be that which is mentioned above. Another would be thanks to you, all the conversations made working worthwhile. If not I think I'll feel dead now :P

Working makes 1 want to study more :D working is considerably less fun then studying.. I think recently I've overcome my mental barrier of being lazy but still its not quite enough. To put into action it is not happening much but slowly and surely. Lets see an example. I want to practice moreee piano. But lets see I'll start counting from Monday so till Wednesday cos I'll like to calculate it per weekly after that. Well first I must say its not meant to boast or to arouse pity for me. Its just a method in which I hope will be effective to help me practice the amount which I want. Well so it'll be on my post if I do post :P Something like this..

Piano : 2.5 hours

Pathetic isnt it? I only actually practised on Monday..
Well I wont have time till Sunday then, so I'll see how it goes when school reopens.
Time to be hardworking. I want to, I need to...

Kakashi Gaiden

Been 5 months since I last posted XD hmm lets say I always wanted to post but never got around to doing it :P

Yesterday I happened to watch this video again and found it touching :P well not exactly this video but its the last part of it ( out of 3 parts) that was especially moving. But overall the whole short story is worthwhile, if u like it u can always consider watching the mainstream video which is Naruto & Naruto Shippuden ;)

And if 1 were to think that ah its just anime (unrealistic) then I guess the video I just watched today again is much realistic in that sense. Its a video Frank recommended previously, I chanced upon a link of his and so watched it again. Its good stuff especially if in need of motivation. Of course watch with an open mind :D

And so the link to 1 of the many videos of his u can check out

Okay lets end my post with a Bible verse. Something to encourage all of us yea? XD

Verse of the day : This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us--whatever we ask--we know that we have what we asked of him. - 1 John 5:14-15

Busy with projects

This post was supposed to be yesterday. Try to imagine it like it was :D
2 projects due tmr ah!
Sloughing hard cos my team is effectively a 2 man project.
Really tiring for 2 ppl to do 4 ppl project. 1 more helping hand was surely almost necessary.
Doing 2 projects in a day is so not cool (couldnt do anything fun)
My other friend left at about midnight..
I continued about another half an hour and "fainted" too

Today, when I was woken up by my brother, I realised I was late for school. Went ahead anyway and for attendance part, the lecturer marks at the end (how kind). Learning is practically on own initiative. Thankfully, I didn't miss much for the lecturer was briefing about a project which was not very important.
Whatever break there was we squeezed in some time and during "free" time during lessons.
And we presented last, giving us a little more time.
But thank God, we made it through today.

Though I realise something. I was relying on my own strength too much. It was exhausting. But got to learn something from this. I realise that being "capable" I tend to rely on my own strength but that just does not work out very fine. And the answer can be seen in the following.

That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Corinthians 12:10

Time to live that statement out!

Poly Math EOY exam

Much time have passed since I last posted. Today I'll like to say I'm rather happy at my math exam paper. I could do all but 1 which I spent 40 mins on and still didnt know how to do. 1 down, 2 more to go. I sent my laptop for servicing 2 Fridays ago as there were some black lines on the screen about the size of an index finger and half its length. They say it was caused by pressure to the cover of the laptop. Probably when its in my bag. Got to handle it with more care as a screen cost $800+ *jaw drops* Thankfully I have warranty and for hardware it expires in March. Whew~ Thank God. Also got my battery changed as it wasnt working. Will see the results of the servicing tmr. Hope its all fine. Wont want to have to send it for servicing again. I miss my laptop :O

Hols are in a week and I think I'm resigned to working. Hopefully not the whole hols. Wanna have fun whoo! Time passes in the twinkling of an eye. Poly years pass the fastest I heard.. Heard that when 1 is above 20 your speed of learning decreases :( Wonder if that is true. If that is so I've got but a few precious years left to absorb everything like a sponge. Want to make good use of my time but its not always easy...

Time is Precious. Use it well so that you'll not have regrets.

2 As

I'm responding to calls for me to post on my blog~ Hmm its now 2 weeks into 2010. The Christmas party and New Year's party was simply fantastic. Auntie Annie was generous to open up her house to us for celebrate and have fun! Much thanks to her indeed. On both occasions we played table tennis and several fun group games. Some of us also played UNO, monopoly and boggle. A few of us were actually planning to jump at midnight so we can say I jumped at 2009 and landed at 2010 but we forgot as we were popping "champagne". Fun days like these make up for weeks of 'normality' indeed. I am contented to have just 1 really fun day in a week. It would revitalise me to face each new week of challenges. Now for some good news. I got 2 As for my previous test :) God is good :D Glory be to him. I regret not giving God the credit when ppl ask me how I study or why I score well. Its my motivation to do that. So this is my first New Year Resolution for the year. I guess I'll just name some of my New Year's resolutions in no order of importance.
1) Pass my LTCL music exam
2) Get a good GPA (max is 4)- grading system in Poly. Something above 3.6 would be reasonable enough I believe.
3) Pray unceasingly (whenever I am free) I cant be busy all the time. There has to be time for God.
4) Daily devotion.
5) Practice 3 hours of piano everyday
6) Spend more time with friends
7) Give credit to God (mentioned earlier)

I guess 7 is the perfect number so I'll stop at these. Anyway its quite some things to do. It'll be great if I achieve all of them. Progress.. Moving forward~

1 year anniversary of my blog

Merry Christmas to all~ Wish u all all the best in ur endeavours. After the weekend I'll post about my Christmas. Currently, I just checked out my blog and oh its been a year since I first started blogging. 23/12 being the date. Hmm I realised that the first 3 months I was really actively blogging then after that it was an "armstice" for quite a while several months here and there. A total of 57 posts = average of 1 in 1 week. I realise that I get "addicted" seemingly easy to games. A bad sign indeed. Its just that I probably try to spend much time on them. I also realised that I do work best when I planned to do it last min cos its done really fast compared to normal when i lack motivation and drive to do things quickly. No reason to ask me to do last min stuff though :D Moving back to Tuesday. I met my good friend for jogging after a month of not exercising since I last exercised with him. I met him at about 10:30. We jogged around the neighbourhood a total of about 4 km perhaps as estimated by my friend in 20 min. This would have been no problem when i was in sec 3 when i was at my fittest point of my life. The pace that was set was rather average actually. I tried to go for a slow pace but it was like walking speed. Was trying to train my stamina so just jogged at a better pace. We talked as we jogged so that I'll regulate my breathing but of course its more tiring as well. Towards the last km that we jogged I was huffing and talk between gasps of breaths. Evidently tired but probably hanging on. I mean whats the point of giving up so easily when one can push urself.(not too hard of course) Towards the final part few hundred metres we even stepped up the pace and the last 100m was supposed to sprint. I did not really did a proper sprint as I knew I was out of energy. I did sprint though not a fast sprint. At the end I just slowed to a stop as stopping straight away was not good. I felt abit nauseous but managed to make the feeling go away. He wanted to continue immediately but I just sat down and told him I was feeling a little dizzy and felt like i could faint. We then went to the shelter as the sun was baring down hot on us. I rested and enjoyed the breeze breathing deeply to get enough oxygen. After when I felt I was okay we tried a little stretching to see if I could continue. He decided against it being concerned about my welfare. I went to the lift and we chatted awhile and I wanted to go up cos I felt like sitting down/ too tired to stand. Went up and took water and a little food. Chatted with him for slightly over half an hour and then he had to go. Its really nice to have friends. I wonder what its like to have none at all. In this season of giving, I'll just like to say I treasure each and every one of u and Thank you for being who u are, a wonderful friend (:

Mid term break

Yoz, looks like I havent posted for rather long. Its just the first week of my hols in my 3 week break. Last week I just took my exams~ My main module and my best subject paper was a killer. Dont know what grade I'll get this time. Hope its not too bad. On the bright side though, my 2 other main modules was alrite. Hoping the good results here can compensate for the lousy 1 there~ This week I did some work.(helping my father) Data entry work. Typical office job I guess. It was alrite though. I was given a few days that I asked for to relax so I feel good about doing work. Had I not been given Friday and the weekend off I would definitely have dreaded work. See how much difference a happy worker makes :) Oh yea, this hols is a mid semester break which means there are projects and assignments to be done. Well only the Midyr and EOY are considered real breaks anyway. I saw the calendar the other day and I realised that Chinese New Year is in Feb. This means that I have to spend the short hols to study for my End of Year as the weightage is rather high thus making it exceedingly important. Anyway now's hols so its time to relax first. When sch reopens its time to concentrate for my final and most important quarter.
